This beautiful beach is a 2 mins stroll from the hotel

We were moved here from Club Sa Coma so didn't know a thing about the hotel. We were not disappointed. It is family run and a member of the family is always on duty and they are so, so helpful and friendly. Upon booking in they bent over backwards to make us welcome as they knew we were being moved from a dodgey hotel, we were given free drinks at the bar and allowed to choose our apartments.

The rooms are very spacious and clean, the facilities in the kitchen excellent, there was microwave, toaster, kettle, all the things you would normally have to hire. The balcony was HUGE, it ran the entire length of the apartment, so the bedroom had patio doors onto it as well as the lounge which was lovely.

The location could not be faulted, although as it is sited on a corner plot the front rooms were on the main road, but this was not a huge problem. It is at the top of the main "stip" which leads down to the beach, it is a padestrian area so no roads to cross. The bars and restaurants are plentiful, along with shops, and they all seemed to wind down at about 11pm, although there are other clubs/bars further down the resort which kept going later. This meant that you could sleep with the doors/windows open as there wasn't alot of noise. The rooms at the back of the hotel had the sea breeze coming in which was wonderful, although there was no view as there were private apartments opposite.

The pool was VERY clean. It is not a fancy freeform pool, but a proper "swimming pool", the deep end being 2.5m, so it is not ideal for toddlers. Our children were 3, 6 and 10, the other ones loved it but the 3 year old would not go in so we bought an inflatable paddling pool there for 8 euros and filled it with water from the pool and she was more than happy. Infact, another family copied us with their 1 year old. The hotel owners were more than happy for us to do this. The one downside of the pool area was the fact that there were only 2 sunshades, however, saying that one side of the pool was in the shade in the afternoon.

I must mention Carolina, the lady who worked in the bar. She was wonderful, so helpful and friendly and she LOVED the kids, made such a fuss of them. The kids are hoping that she will still be there when we return, they loved her that much.

I don't know if travel companies use this hotel as there were no reps there, and we booked flights/accomodations separately which is why it was so cheap - £800 for 3 of us in August last year for a week and £1,600 for 4 for a fortnight this year, in a large one bedroom apartment, the additional beds being the the lounge. There are two bed apartments which also have two bathrooms, and these cost an extra £300 for the two weeks.

We enjoyed the trip so much that we are going back this year for two weeks, and are taking our husbands with us this time (last year it was just my friend and myself and our children).
