Staff brilliant and friendly, rooms comfortable, food acceptable, everything very clean. Would definately visit again when I get older.

having been recomended this hotel my wife and i were very dissapointed the food was terrible, breakfast lunch, and dinner were cold, not even warm.
the staff and management could not careless they were too busy looking after the spanish&french.
the poolside furniture was very dirty the sunloungers had no cushions the balcony furniture was even worse.
3 star hotel my ?----!
overall a holiday hotel from hell.
thank god for bob &vicky at the buckingham bar excellent food, good beer,made you welcome you must try bobs sangria its wicked,and vicki"s prawn cocktail special.the bar must be majorca"s best.
thanks to these two they saved my holiday from being a disaster

We stayed at Alex last year in October and really enjoyed it! This year we found it different. The staff seemed very grumpy all the time. Hotel full of spanish teenagers, food always cold! We stayed for 10 nights and it was the same every night. The location is fantastic though! We will definately return to Can Pastilla but probably not the Alex. If you do go to Can Pastilla, take the tourist train to Areanal, 3 euroes, return, nice little trip. Call into the Buckingham Palace Bar and say hello to BOB and VICKY great couple and a nice bar, right by the sea. We are returing in Oct but to a different hotel.
