Alondras Park: Excellent value, restaurant food great, staff friendly! by Marion Hall |
| Posted 25 April 2007 about a visit in April 2007 | Overall rating: 9.1 |
We travelled as a large group - 10 divers plus assorted children and a baby - 19 all together! We found the apartments to be clean and well kitted out, certainly more than adequate for what we wanted! Food in the restaurant was excellent - particularly the paella: this requires 24 hours notice, and is HUGE, it is advertised for two, but is probably enough for three.
The kids were quite happy messing around in the pool and playing on the outside pool table. There is also an inside table for the more serious pool players!
There is entertainment in the bar each night - singer / karaoke - but it is quiet enough to chat at the same time.
We were a bit confused by the supermarket signs inside the complex, as it has now been converted into parking! however, there is a good Netto supermarket about 2 minutes walk away, plus a wide variety of bars and restaurants.
We were actually diving with Coralsub Dive Centre, which was about 15 minutes walk away - excellent diving - but would stay in the same place again, despite the walk.

Alondras Park: how secure are the apartments and safety deposit boxes |

how safe are the safety deposit boxes and apartments >> Answer this question | | | | >> | Answer 1 by Marion Hall (25 Apr)
Some of our group used the safety deposit boxes in the apartments. You pay for the safe at reception and get the key (15 Euros per week). No-one had any problems with them, nor with general security at the complex. We had several ground floor apartments, and most of us left towels and costumes out overnight with no problems at all.
