| | This was our first visit to Turkey and quite honestly I was not sure what to expect. After arriving in the early hours of the morning and then going to bed until lunchtime the next day, we wondered down to the Dolphin Square on the next evening and found everyone to be so friendly, the waiters do get a bit over powering when you have been down there every night but just say no and carrying on walking, never say tomorrow as they never forget and face and never leave you alone, just say you will think about it. All in all we absolutely loved Altinkum, the markets are brilliant for all your fake designer stuff and well worth haggling for. I would not travel anywhere else now and we are looking to buy a property out there later this year. A great big thumbs up to Altinkum, it's beautiful weather, fantastic people and everything else about it. |
