elecrical socket hanging from the wall

dirty floors

Dangerous is how I would describe these apartments, electrical sockets hanging from the wall, toilets that don't flush, filth ground into the floor. I am NOT fussy but this was just the worst I have ever seen. On further investigation it turns out that a couple of the apartments have been done to a high standard and the rest are like the one we stayed in. The people in the apartment next to us had been there almost 2 weeks, had tried to move but couldn't, both their children were ill from using the filthy swimming pool and they were desperate to get home. We stayed 2 hours and got ourselves moved. I read the reviews and thought that it was just people being picky, but no, it was truely dreadful.

I can't comment on the facilities as we didn't stay, but speaking to people there there were none, the bar and snack bar were not open, there was no kids club and the holiday reps never showed.

Location I guess was OK, other than the fact the the enterance is directly opposite a "gentlemens club" (brothel in other words) which was not discreet - girls were stood outside touting for business as we arrived in the early hours of the morning.

We couldn't get booked in as there was no office and nobody on duty, when eventually we did manage to our passports were taken away. When we went back a couple of hours later to hand in our key and leave we found our passports in a little whicker basket on a table, unattended where anyone could take them!!

Oh, when I opened the fridge it smelt as if some creature had crawled in and died, so I shut it again VERY quickly.

I read on another review that the apartments are being up-graded, however, I would never risk going there again just incase this is not the case as it was just so AWFUL.

I have read bad reviews about this place, after booking and was worried we had done the wrong thing. But this was not so. Yes the rooms are basic, and you need to hire a kettle and toaster, but they were good size rooms and what you would expect to find for the money paid. They are in the middle of refurbishing the rooms with new stuff, and looking through the window of one nearly done i would say they will be very nice once finished.

They did only leave 2 bath/hand towels and we had a child, but i had no problems getting more, and they even gave us extra sheets cos they said they knew what toddlers were like!!

I always believe that a holiday is what you make of it, if you go on holiday purely to moan, then perhaps you should stay at home. During two weeks at these apartments, I think that I can safely say I saw it all.

It cost just £150 per person for two apartments for two weeks and that even included meals and transfers, what can you expect!

During two weeks I would say that 90% of holiday makers enjoyed their holiday and didn't let Club Sa Coma worry them.

Then there was the man who turned up at 4:30 in the morning, and by 7:30 am was complaining that the birds in the tree outside his apartment were keeping him awake and he had to be upgraded to another hotel. Perhaps there are no birds where he came from.

How about the woman who got up at 11 each morning and complained that everybody else had used all the hot water, not exactly the fault of the owners.

The biggest con artist was young single mother who booked the holiday as there was no single person suppliments and didn't even unpack. As soon as she arrived she was on the phone to the Reps complaining the broucher photos didn't resemble the apartments and she had to be moved. The young lady booked a cab went to their offices and was going to refuse to leave unless she was upgraded..... It must have worked we never saw her again!

The apartments were basic, and to have to hire kettles and toasters is taking a liberty, but the pool was great, and safe for the kids. The apartments are centrally located, and no great distance to walk the fantastic beach, and local bars. It is a surprise to see a 'Gentleman's Club' across the road, but during our holiday there was no noise and no sign of any seedier activities associated with that type of establishment.

My winge would be that only one member of staff spoke respectable English, and that was the night porter / barman.

I would go back again because I thought Sa Coma was a smashing place, and these apartments are well located, but only if the price was right.
