This was our Bonus week through RCI and after staying at Las Adelfus the first week I must admit Aquarius in not up to Time Share standards. However, the weather was good & we were allocated an apartment on level 6. The view was superb we looked over the harbour & out to sea & Fuerteventura. The snag with the view was the 100+ steps we had to climb. No good if you are not a walker. Whilst we had the view some of the apartments at other side of the complex had none other that rendered block walls & some were right next to an area which can only be described as a rubbish dump for fly tippers. I know one couple were allocated an apartment like that & refused it & got on to RCI who moved them to Diamond Las Calas. So had we not had the foresight to visit the complex before we were due to arrive and ask for an apartment with a nice view we may well have been ringing RCI ourselves. If you are Timeshare insist on an apartment on level 5 or 6 & the views will compensate for the rest. Not much entertainment & the pool surround was concrete not tiles. The complex needs to be updated as some of the furniture & fittings were worn. We still love Lanzarote & its people & after the negative comments I have made I must say the Girls on reception were very good & went out of their way to be helpful.

we stayed for 2 weeks in aug 01
apts were nice and clean but plenty of steps to climb if
your on one of tne upper terraces.
the pool was cleaned every day and there were plenty
of sun beds,
good location overlooking the harbour.
hotel entertainment not too bad. The food is edable and the staff were very freindly, good activities for kids with a multi-lingual supervisor
