went to the aquasol july 05 and have already booked to go again next year the best holiday me kids(6&11) and other half have had. eveything is within walking distance beach 2 mins walk magaluf 10 mins and palma nova 5 mins.Drinks can be a bit pricey at the bar 2.50euros for a coke but there is a supermarket called caprabo come out of the hotel turn let and walk across waste land very cheap. there is a kids club entertainment every night. can be a bit noisy at night was woken up twice but it is only people going back to their apartments and security tell them to be quiet. apartments are lovely no problems at all, but there are a lot of steps so people with pushchairs be warned.The apartments are not in the middle of everything so it is possible for you to have peace and quiet. Be warned that the brits are turning into germans putting their towels on the sunloungers and going out all day. I would definatley recommend this hotel for families but there are some same sex groups at the hotel but they weren't a problem., and if it gets packed by the pool it is a 2 min walk to lovely beach where there are pedalos, bananas and donuts and loungers which are 2.50euros for all day. I booked accomodation last year through agent this year have booked direct with hotel much cheaper and flights with bmi from heathrow £414 for all 4 of us. if you book with high street travel agents can cost twice as much, and you can choose how many nights last year was 8 this year am staying 10 nights.

We had a self catering apartment, but was half board. Good food served in restaurant, nice and roomy and clean apartments, good entertainment in the hotel, suitable for families of all ages. Aquasol is only a two minute walk from beach, and there,s plenty to do !

We stayed here January 2004, I agree with the other reviews it is certainly a well run hotel with helpful staff and good clean accommodation. If I found fault it is the fact that there are no lifts and if you are on the third floor there are 53 steps to the top(so my sister in law told me every time we did it).So if you are of a geriatric age and 'hump' your luggage with difficulty then make sure you insist on a ground floor room.That said the rooms were VG with ample space and good enough for a 2.2 family(kids sleep in the living room).On the food-- well every morning there was a FULL english breakfast and continental as well and eat as much as you want. The evening meal was also good value with at least 5 choices and salad. Pool looked good but too cold in January,Entertainment was as previously described and the bar could be cheaper but we would go back there.
