| Sorry but we didn't like this resort at all. It is probably one of the oldest on the island or at least looks like it! The entire bay of Palma from Arenal, Playa de Palma to Can Pastilla is just one continous line. Arenal is old and once off the promenade is very scruffy, tatty and dirty. There are no nice big new hotels on the front, just old tatty ones. The shops sell the usual beach tat, abit like Blackpool but without the funfair! You can't get into the marina to look at the boats as it is private and although the beach is clean and safe for the kids, other than one big crazy golf sight in amongst the big German bars, there is little else for the kids to do. No go-carts or trampolines etc. The only good point is that the islands biggest water park is based here - that is a must, great day out, even for the children. Loads to do.
In my opinion there are loads much nicer resorts in Majorca than this one. Glad we were only there for a week. Like Majorca but wouldn't go back here. |
