Now named Vilamoura Beach
The hotel was in need of an update and seemed a bit tired.
It is now being refurbished which should bring it to true 5***** standard
We had a very relaxing week in this well located hotel which is within
easy walking distance of the marina.
We had booked Bed & Breakfast but had most of our evening meals in the
hotel, plenty of choice and very good value.
We are in our early seventies.

We spent our first foreign holiday in 1990 at this hotel and it certainly lived up to it's 5* rating. Right on the beach it is only a short stroll to the marina with it's many bars and restaurants. The extensive gardens and pool with it's swim up bar are 1st class. The rooms are quite large with full bathroom and efficient air conditioning. Although our stay was 11 years ago we looked in on the hotel whilst in the Algarve this year and it looks to have retained all it's good qualities.
