I will have to explain, my wife and I have an apartment half way up the HILL to the Atrium, the Alia Palace is even further up. In the hot months there is a bus that runs up and down from the hotel, I beleive twice a day - in the morning and in the evening but be beware it is not suitable to walk for elderly. For very young people it is so steep in the heat it is unbearable - in fact my wife and I nicknamed it (heart attack hill).
I have spoken to many people coming past and they have no problems about the hotels the only thing they did mention that it was a bit much after being out all day to tackle the hill again at night for a walk about and felt a bit trapped ,but do not forget you can get a taxi. Taxis though are very busy at night and you might have to wait a while.
