I have been to the Balaia Atlantico Hotel on a few occasions both with my girlfriend and her mother.
The Hotel was built in 2005 so is still quite new. The Rooms are a very good standard and some of them have been purchased for renting out. We always try to get a room on the left of the hotel as you come in as that has the sun in the afternoon and evening. The other side of the Hotel gets the sun in the morning but is in shade in the evening.
The staff are very friendly as well as helpful and can never do enough for you.
My advise would be to have a car whilst there as it is a little out of the way but there is a daily bus to Alburfuiera from the hotel.
The food is buffet service and there is quite a good choice. The only slight problem is that sometimes the food can be luke warm but there is a microwave available if you want your food warming up.
Girlfriend and her mother have been twice to the hotel since i went in March 07 and they are sometimes hard to please.
All in all, not a bad hotel at all

I am just a week home from the Balaia Atlantico and I wish I was still there!!!
It is a beautifull new modern spacious hotel/apartment. I would highly recommend it as the staff are the most friendly yet buisness like people I have ever met! The apartments are spotless ,spacious with air-conditionen - that actually worked!! with spacious bathrooms with music while you bathe or otherwise!!! the pool is well maintained and has a great kiddy pool area with playground. The crazy golf is fun and the football and arobics in the pool are great entertainment for the adults too. There is a different musician playing in the lobby bar each evening so you don't need to go out to the noisy strip if you are tired. The indoor pool jacuzzi and steam room were bliss!! I found the staff very helpfull especially at the receiption where they can help you organize taxies or outings. I found it a very relaxing holiday I would'nt need to leave the hotel all day its a great place to just chill by the pool.
The only minus for me was that it was not near the beach walking distance (courtsy buss though) and we did need to get taxies to the strip or old town. (5e). I found it to be very good value for what we paid for our 19 day stay!! I hope other site users find this informative.
