Ballymun Plaza Hotel: Far from city centre, noisy, staff borderline rude by Sabine Fortu

Good value for money but even if hotel is said to be 3* it is far away from providing a 3* service!!! The standard of cleanliness is just acceptable, bathtub hadn't been cleaned properly when we first arrived. The staff is not rude but not friendly either. We had no "welcome" when we first arrived and no "thank you for your custom" when we left. The hotel is far from city centre 20mns to 35mns by bus if heavy traffic. It is very noisy as the hotel is located next to a dual carriage way. The area surrounding the hotel is quite bad, a housing scheme. It wouldnt have been safe to walk around at night. In one word, my advice, go to another hotel!
