| | Apart from the resort where we stayed & had our dream wedding on the beach cannot comment on Barbados as a whole. Due to my husband suffering food poisoning all week we only saw Barbados on our journey to & from the airport & a trip to Bridgetown for a boat trip & our marraige licence. Interesting mix of houses, some merely huts in amongst luxurious villas. Roads in disrepair from all the rain I expect which absolutely floods them. Often rains with no warning & stops just as suddenly & the sun shines, very humid. Coconut trees everywhere, interesting to watch Bajans climbing up to collect coconuts. Wonderful beaches & clear blue sea. Very friendly people, even beach vendors - no hassle. |
