The apartments were very spacious and clean and one of the two we had booked had spectacular, uninterrupted views of the bay. If you're going to spend some time on your balcony then it is well worth the extra payment for the full sea view rather than settle for the side sea view as you could end up quite a long way down the building with only a glimpse of the sea.
The facilities were great and kept clean and tidy. The staff were very helpful and the choice of food would satisfy even the most difficult to feed.
The position of the hotel was hard to beat and there were many bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity as well as supermarkets etc. The nicest way to get back to the main beach was via the edge of the cove (but not after dark)!

Lovely hotel. Clean rooms and well maintained hotel throughout. Food was of buffet style and was of a good standard. There is a fridge, a two ring hob, a hob kettle, cutlery, plates etc, but no oven or grill. It is cheap enough to eat out and there are plenty places to go right beside the hotel, also there is a big supermarket just round the corner. You can upgrade to b&b or half board when you are there. There seemed to be plenty of activities going on around the pool for all ages, but you will have to be up around 8am to get a sunbed. The view from our seaview room was great, it overlooked the pool and across the bay and you could see the watersports going on. The beach is lovely with plenty of watersports to have a go at! It is about a 10-15 min walk, but worth it. We didnt stay in the hotel in the evenings so I cant comment on the entertainment, we went to the'square' which is a two minute walk from the front of the hotel, it is a sqare with lots of different pubs around it and a big stage where many tribute bands perform. Further up the road are lots of Irish pubs, clubs and discos for the young and lively. The staff at the hotel are friendly and there is an English lady in charge at reception which comes in handy. It is 30 - 35 euros for a taxi from the airport each way but worth it. We enjoyed our holiday very much we will go back and take our children the next time cause they would love it.
