Visited in April, 2003 as a surprise weekend break for my husband's 40th birthday.
From the beginning it was a fabulous weekend, I pre ordered directly with the hotel some chilled champagne, which was delivered to our room promptly after our arrival, the reception staff were very welcoming and helpful.
All the hotel staff were very polite and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent, too many wonderful goodies to choose from.
Room was lovely, very contemporary, very clean, and came with a mini bar and the usual bits and pieces.
We had a lovely time there, and we will return again. The hotel is excellently positioned with the (very easy to use) metro just outside the hotel lobby doors (a must for the sightseeing you will be doing). 10 mins walk to Las Ramblas and the marina.
Most definately recommend this hotel either for a weekend or business trip (nice pool on the roof and small gym).
