Beach Rotana: Stunning hotel by Neil Magee |

Just what you expect from a top UAE Hotel. We have been to Abu Dhabi and Dubai several times but the Hotel lobby for the Rotana is outstanding and instantly makes you realise you have booked a quality hotel.
It has extremely helpful staff, clean modern rooms (albeit some are a bit dark and dingy and noisy) excellent beach club, gym, pool, resteraunts (pricey) and generally everythin you could want for a luxurious stay for a few weeks.
The shopping mall is attached to the Rotana so you dont even have to go outside to access it and it has a huge amount of high street stores plus ones I had not heard of.
The Rotana is not the greatest for young children as there are a lot of business meeting occurring at all times of day around the bars and lobby but the Beach club would keep them occupied and there is a childrens club and table tennis etc.
Lovely beach club with massive pool, busy pool bar which has plenty staff and a nice Beach area if you prefer the sea.
I would highly reccomend this hotel and if there was only one thing that would put me off was the price of drinks at the bars. As I was there as a family of four a quick drink before tea time will set back about £20 for 4 small drinks. As it is one of Abu Dhabis top hotels though I suppose you get what you pay for.

Beach Rotana: A lovely hotel with great service by Louise Russell |

My husband and I booked a Tower Room at the Beach Rotana, which I would recommend as the standard ones are really small and in the old part of the hotel. We also paid for private transfers which was only an extra £10 each but well worth it!
We arrived before check in but we sat in the lobby and had a nice coffee. The lobby is very grand. There were a few business meetings taking place, but it didn't bother us. We only had to wait about an hour for our room to be ready. The room was lovely and felt quite luxurious. We had a nice balcony although as we weren't high up in the tower, most of our view was of the roof of the hotel, although we could see the sea. The hotel is attached to a big shopping mall, which is great.
Service in the hotel was fantastic, everyone was very polite and helpful. Everything was kept extremely clean and for a 5 star hotel, it was reasonably priced. Towels were provided for the pool/beach area and if you needed a parasol, there was always someone on hand to bring you one and move your sunbed if required!! Beach was not very big at all, so anyone expecting a large beach would be disappointed. There is a large selection of restaurants within the hotel and we sampled everyone one of them apart from the fish restaurant. The food was superb!
