We arrived at this charming little hotel early afternoon and were greeted by a truly lovely Parisian lady who was most helpful. Checking us in took all of two minutes with no fuss what so ever. We asked about directions to The Moulin Rouge Theatre, for this was the reason for our stay, and she was delighted to give us a map and explain which Metro station was best for our route.
We were given a room on the fifth floor, but using the lift made life very easy.
The room was small but spotlessly clean with a view over a small courtyard from large French windows that opened up to give the room a light airy feel.
There was a well stocked mini bar, plenty of hanging wardrobe space, a large writing desk with chair, a TV with dozens of channels to surf through and an immaculate bathroom. The bed itself was very comfortable too.
The continental style breakfast was served in the newly decorated basement area and was perfect for our needs. We knew we would be eating out during the day, so the selection of cereals, cold meats, rolls, croissants and very good coffee was perfect. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and made us both feel very welcome.
I would certainly recommend this delightful hotel to anyone who wants a value for money, short stay in Montmartre, Paris.
