Beverly Park: A relaxing, Friendly, holiday in a hotel that meets requirements by Rob Seath |

We went as a group of 4 (two couples) after we booked online at the last minute. We had read these reviews and thought that we couldn't go wrong as it sounded so good. However this meant our expectations were high. They were probably slightly too high which meant that I was slightly diassappointed when we arrived as the hotel is not that presentable. It is a fairly old building and the decor is slightly depressing as it is so old fashioned. However, first impressions are slightly decieving as the hotel does have geat facilities. The bathrooms in the rooms are lovely and clean and they have all the modern attachments such as a power shower. The towels were changed daily and the maids cleaned the rooms every day. The rooms also have sky tv with a few english channels including Sky News.
The staff were extremely helpful and freindly and so too were the guests.
The food was brilliant, lots to choose from at both Breakfast and dinner. (Although I just stuck to the fry ups and chips!) The pools were cleaned everyday and one of them is heated which was needed at this time of year as the other two were just too cold.
The hotel is just on the edge of the main centre of Playa del Ingles which is a 10-15 minute walk away. This can get annoying with all the bar/restaurant owners trying to haggle you into their place. Also, steer clear of the scratch card bumbs who are just there to con you intyo a timeshare and leach onto your girlfriend!
The hotel also has two jacuzzis which are great and we were surprised that you did not have to wait to use as they were often empty. Also the hotel has a games room where there are a few old school games machines and some pool table and even a mini bowling alley which is in need of repair. There is also a ping pong table which was quality fun when ity was raining outside! (This was February)
All in all we had a great holiday and the hotel is everything you would expect from 3* accomodation and possibly more. If you ignore the OLD SCHOOL decor and the obvious ageing of the building you will have a geat holiday here. (also great value for money)
