We stayed here a couple of years ago, the bungalows are spacious and clean, the one we were in had a separate fully equiped kitchen (not one of these ones stuck at the end of the living area like so many). We found the bedroom to hot to sleep in even with the ceiling fan on, so ended up sleeping on the seating areas in the main room (very comfy)
The pool area was great, always room and pleanty of sunbeds, the pool was clean and well looked after. Tennis courts are behind the pool.
The restaurant was resonably priced and the food was very good.. we ate there four nights.
The complex is so close to everything but still quiet.. a 3 min walk finds you at the Yumbo center, 10 mins further to the beech. taxis pass the front entrance all day and night and those are very cheap (£2-3 gets you most places)
The bar is good, and reasonably priced, we sat unwinding at the end of the day by the tables outside the bar overlooking the pool, and made some good friends there.
Staff are friendly and do all they can to help. there is a small room at the back of one of the bungalows (unused) that has a washing machine and drier in it. (small fee)
You will notice people mentioning cockroaches in most reviews of all accomodation in Gran Canaria, the island is covered with them, this is the same anywhere in the world with this type of climate, the Biarritz constantly sprays the grounds and rooms to tackle this, they do a much better job than most places. i only saw 1 roach in the utillity area (outside) the bungalow, If you use your head, and dont leave food laying around, you wont see any in your rooms.
All in all this is a very good complex (I've stayed in many in GC), and we are hoping to go back this December.
