Binimar: 11 times at Binimar by Donna Newman 1 |
| Posted 23 August 2005 about a visit in July 2005 | |
Just got back from Menorca again. This is our 12th visit to Menorca, but our 11th to Binimar.
Had a great time: Me, My Hubby, Son of 18 & Daughter of 11. Looking at booking again next year.
Entertainment is very good for the children . We went to the square a few times to watch the entertainment just because there's more space & the temptations are excellent there.
Good bars for youngsters are Blue Breeze & Night Fever. Great places to eat are Sa Caldereta (pink shirts), The Anchore, Cuore & The Grandfather all on the main road.
We meet up with lots of people who return year after year.

My wife & I took our 10 year old granddaughter & 7 year old grandson for a week during the school spring break & they had a ball!
Stacks to do, plenty of new friends to be made & most importantly.......................3 swimming pools!!!
The apartments were small, but well equipped & kept very clean & we were quite happy with ours.
The complex itself, is quite large with plenty of sunbeds surrounding the pools & plenty of organised daytime activities, for those that are interested and in the evenings, something different every night, ranging from a magician to an excellent circus balancing act to "Robbie Williams", etc. etc.
The grandkids loved every minute!
We were self catering but had breakfast & evening meal there twice & every time, found the food to be first class.
Cala N'Forcat is nice little resort that is family orientated, with kids amusement parks strategically situated next to most of the groups of bars & restaurants, so parents can sit & have a drink or a meal & the kids can run riot on the bouncy castle or trampolines & you can keep an eye on them. Great stuff!
Any grandparents looking for somewhere to take their grandkids, look no further.

My partner and little girl age 7, stayed there from 11th April for one week, we had a really great time there, the apartments were lovely and clean, we overlooked the middle pool.Staff were very friendly, the area good, the country beautiful, BUT 90% of the island was closed!!! they did not open the pubs, restaraunts etc untill the 17th and 18th and even then a lot was still shut! I wish we had been told this when we booked as we would have waited an extra week. But we had a great time, even thought the weather was windy!
We would come again, but it would have to be in the middle of summer, when we knew everything was open.
