this hotel is excellent. the location is very good, not in the centre, but within easy walking distance. the receptionist staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful.
the hotel was immaculately clean. the bedrooms are quite small but well set out, with the most comfortable beds i've ever slept in, plus tv, internet connection, iron and hairdryer. the bathroom was lovely and very clean. the breakfast was fantastic, there is so much choice, cereals, fruit, yoghurts, cheese, ham, bacon, eggs and much more, there is something to suit everyone, and the staff cleared the tables and replenished the food all the time.
there is a gym and sauna, which sadly i didn't have enough time to try.
i would definetly recommend the birger jarl hotel, and on my next trip to stockholm i will be staying here again.
