You start with the lousiest location in all of Cancun, you add a fairly dillapidated motel/hotel property that had to be a predecessor to all the high end resorts that were to follow during the next two decades, and how to you attract patrons. BBG Cancun did it by keeping the kids out and by appealing to the lowest, most basest of human instincts.
The property grounds and pool are well worn. The rooms are also well worn. The food is very mediocre.
You ask yourself how this place not only stays in business but thrives with a pretty strong following. It caters to over-sexually addicted and stimulated middle aged adults that are not satisfied with lying annonymously with their beloved spouses on an exotic and tropical beach. Rather, they cluster around the pool and bond with other couples in a semi-nude, drunken and sexually charged atmosphere.
On discovering this, we bolted several days early and paid for another accomodation out of our pocket.
