We visited Brisa Sol on 29 December to celebrate the New Year of 2008. Location, rooms, cleanliness and service were superb. There is a fantastic heated indoor swimming pool - as hot as a bath! together with jacuusi and sauna. They also have an indoor games room with a 12 hole mini golf, which gave us many a good laugh. All of the staff are extremely friendly. The rooms are very very spacious and have fridge, microwave, kettle and a good selection of kitchen utensils so there is no need to dine out every day. The rooms are cleaned and made up every day which included a change of towels daily. One big dissapointment was that the bar in the hotel did not open until 4pm each day. Many guests were also dissapointed and tended to go elsewhere. When travelling at this time of year you do need to have all facilities available. The breakfasts were mundane and did not have any variety day by day. The New Year in Albufeira is one to remember and we will definitely be back next year without a doubt. Nearly forgot - the coffee shop next door is fantastic and very very cheap. Make sure you give it a visit.

This is a really excellent 4* hotel with service to match.
Friendly and helpful reception staff.
Rooms cleaned and towels changed every day.
Plenty of room and sunbeds round the pool.
Food at pool snack bar is really good and reasonably priced.(staff again always cheerful)
Very Large Supermarket next door to hotel with good choice of food and drink for the self catering.
Well placed for Albufeira 'old town' or for the 'strip' in Sao Joao.

been to brisa sol before but stayed in apartment now going again but staying in poolside studio any idea what facilities in studio (microwave etc )
