I have stayed at this hotel before and decided to give it another try. The hotel lobby and biar is quite nice and is held in English style. As usual in Norway, the star categories do not correspond to the continent and should be viewed as one lower. Particualrly the rooms are small, the beds narrow and bathrooms are more in line with the 1980s.
Some nice things about the Bristol are the excellent location and a good Norwegian breakfast buffet. You can reach all main Oslo sites easily on foot and can enjoy various types of salmon or other fish to start the day.
Overall, I can recommend this hotel as it offers a decent price for quality ratio at an excellent location.
