the sal y mar appartments are the best ever. just basic accommodation (which is all you need in lanzarote) but everything you need.two bedrooms with two beds in each, with the cleanest of white sheets. a huge double wardrobe in each and a centre bedside table . a safe is available in one of the bedrooms. plenty of plug sockets, windows with bars on or a chain for security, large spacious living area with sofa bed & chair. the kitchen was well equipedwith kettle, toaster, microwave & huge fridge freezer which was realy usefulleverything that we need for our self catering was ther.the bathroom was just right. the bat slightly sunken making iti easier to get in & out with a good shower over, plenty of hot water (4 of us one after the other & it was still piping hot) plus a wc. all you need!!!
the outside area of the sal y mar was great. plenty of sunbeds for all,the pool is not massive but for our party it was enough. it was cleaned each morning as was the surrounding of the pool area (swepted & mopped) by the two friendly members of staff. the reception is not 24 hours but there are two emergency numbers on the door should yo need any assistance. we didnt need them as we didnt need any help.
situated 10 metres fro the main square was great for us. the bars, restaurants and shops just over the road, the beach round the corner and sunshine on the pool area all day, waht more could you ask for.we are waiting for the prices to be released for october 09 as we want to book again. two friends who travel with us each year agree, these are the best we have stayed in and we have been to lanzarote for the last 8 years. through work comittments we are changing from april to october and want to book the sal y mar each year there after, we wouldnt want to stop anywhere else. cant wait for the prices to be released so we can book again.
