Castilla: This is an excellent hotel in an ideal situation. by Margaret Malcolm |

This was our second holiday at this hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable,we had a room overlooking the pool which caught the sun mid to late afternoon. The rooms were cleaned to a high standard as was the rest of the facilities of the hotel. The food menu was varied good quality and well presented, no problem finding a table at any time. The Hotel is situated in a quieter part of Benidorm and there are a few bars and cafes within 50 to 100 yards our favorite was The Cheap and Cheerful certainly lives up to its name. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the beach and the old town which is worth a visit . The staff are all very helpful friendly and efficient . This is an excellent hotel and I have no hesitation in recommending it. and hope to return in the future. This is a quality hotel and good value for money.

Castilla: Christmas and New Year 2007 by sjp |

A good holiday - our first to the area. The Castilla was worth its rating and the food was good. The entertainment was patchy and not always of the highest standards. Rooms were a decent size but in a twin room the two beds were singles and very small. It was clean warm and friendly. For me the only problem as a poor walker was that it was up hill from the beach. Not a lot but I was not really aware that Benidorm was not completely flat. Central for much of the entertainment and at that time of the year no noise from surrounding facilities.
Whether to visit again or not is more a reflection on Benidorm than the hotel. There are many other places in the world yet to see.
