Club Cala Romani: Great Holiday by Garry Dulley |
| Posted 29 June 2008 about a visit in June 2008 | Overall rating: 9.0 |
The Room was a little Humid in the evening but we slept through it, the service was very good and the staff were very nice people. The Dining we found was very good and the food was also good.
The Rooms and Restaurants were always clean and the Staff were always cleaning up behind you.
The Facililties were ok, but we felt they should have had a fenced in area for small children to play in, as the 2 year old went running everywhere.
The Location was nice near a small town with plenty of things to see of a night time.
This Holiday was very good Value for money, and I would go again. The Flight time was also good 2hrs both ways.
The Weather was great for the time of the year, most days were in the 80s.

Club Cala Romani: Enjoyable short break. by Rose Fawcett |
| Posted 16 October 2007 about a visit in September 2007 | Overall rating: 8.9 |
Fairly good hotel, spotlessly clean, good facilities. The pool & pool area was very clean.
Having only previouly gone All Inclusive before in the Carribean where there were loads of choices, we had no-where else to compare A/I in Europe. However there were ample choices - we always found something we liked, we never went hungry, and the food was of a pretty good quality except for the breakfasts if you went for cooked - cold/continental breakfasts were fine though.
Don't bother hiring a remote for the TV because all that's available in English is Eurosport & a news channel. It's worth hiring a kettle if you want a brew in the morning!
We probably should have hired a fan - no air-con! If in a room with the evening sun, it's very hard to do your hair, especially using straighteners with the heat from the sun and the humidity - you might as well not bother, but a fan might help I suppose.
The 10min walk down to the beach is worth it, lovely clean beach, very pretty, rough sea when we were there with massive breakers! Pleasant cliff walks from beach. Not much else in the immediate area other than a small shopping centre with a few bars/restaurants.
On the whole we enjoyed it, and we came back with a good tan!

Club Cala Romani: loved it the best holiday yet by Donna Elliott |
| Posted 16 September 2007 about a visit in August 2007 | Overall rating: 10.0 |
just back from the cala romani, their were 5 of us 2adults 3 children ages 12,12,9. we arrived on the 30th aug 07 for 10 days. we loved ever minute of this holiday and are planning to return next year, which isnt like us as we like to try new places but this place was that good we are going back and i cant wait.
rooms were very spacious and cleaned daily, we had a 1 bedroomed apartment but if you get a studio they are not as big.
food was fab with plenty of choice daily, a little weirdly set out but once you find everything you will be fine.
pools were the best ive seen and always clean, as was everywhere on this complex.
the staff are friendly enough but at first the barstaff were a bit snappy with you but when they get used to your face then their fine, which would be nice from the beginning.
beach is a 5/10 min walk down a path direct from the hotel grounds, the centre is just down the road with everything you could ask for. mini-golf, go-karts and plenty of shops and supermarkets.
dont listen to the bad reviews as we couldnt fault this holiday and ive been all over spain and found none better than this. a holiday is what you make it yourself and if your only going so you can moan then i dont see the point in going on holiday in the first place.
there is no air/con but you can leave your balcony doors open so didnt find this a problem but you can hire fans if needed for 18euros. you can also hire a kettle for 12 euros for a week and a 10euro deposit so no need to take your own which was good as i had forgotten mine. ha ha

just returned from a great week here with 14 family and friends hotel fantastic food good staff very helpful when we had a problem with a room they sorted it very quickly pool area is kept very clean at all times as is the rest of hotel short walk from the local shops and to say it only a small resort there is plenty there.
The food was very good if at times a bit bland always plenty of choice evening entertainment good the rooms would benefit from air conditioning but fans are readily available for hire al in all we had a very good holiday and would definitly go back here.
