all during the day apart from meal times and up to midnight the pool bar has a chef on duty no cold chips or burgers they are cooked fresh to order.

things around the site...

- the irish bar !!! well we popped in for a cold one andddddd No beer they had run out of everything but local lager
- walked to the shoping centre Atlantico - signs say 500 meters more like 1500 meters several designer type shops
- Calleta's shopping centre is not big but is ok the market is small but has all the usuall stalls

Just come back from the Caleta Amarilla after a brilliant fortnight all inclusive. Cannot fault anything whatsover, appartment clean and comfortable, staff friendly and helpful, swimming pools lovely, food excellent and plentiful and entertainment for kids and adults really good. My children especially enjoyed the mini disco everynight and we won 120 euros on the bingo which was a great result. Loved Fuerteventura and went on trips to the water park and south of the island which were really well worth doing. Also done the submarine adventure which is located at the beach - the kids loved the sealion and both got a kiss from him. Would not hesitate to recommend or go back.

Club Caleta Dorada: brilliant by Annette Roake
Posted 31 July 2005 about a visit in September 2003
We stayed in Caleta Amarilla, in October 2003, and what a fantastic time we had, we stayed all inclusive and it was well worth the extra money. Never once did the kids moan about being hungry or thirsty, I was a a bit concerned at first as we had never had an all inclusive holiday before but we were not disappointed at all. The entertainment for the kids was brilliant as for Dean and Andy who done the entertainment they were fantastic couldn't ask for better, the patience they had was outstanding. The only gripe I had were the beds in the apartments were very uncomftable but they had everything you needed. I went out there with the thought that I would end up having to spend money on food, I never spent a penny, infact I went out on the last day and spent on myself and even my husband treated himself.
So thankyou Caleta Amarilla.

We have just arrived back from 2 weeks in the Caleta Amarilla, was worried after reading a couple of not so good reviews but had a fantastic time, the reps are brilliant with not just the kids but the adults too, full marks to Kieran, Vince, Laura, Billy and Dom (our 4 year old ended up with tonsillitis after 2 days and we couldn't get him to take medicine and Dom went out of his way to come in as the doctor! to get him to take it - a big thankyou to you Dom). We had originally booked as self-catering but upgraded to All Inclusive for 800 euros when we got there, well worth it, food was plentiful, hot and enough variety, snacks great and no queing for drinks as I read on another report. There were a great mixture of Scots, English, Welsh and Irish and we all had a ball, our 13 year old didn't want to come home and we all have the holiday blues.

Visited in December looking for a bit of winter sun. Prices very good for AI, food good and varied, Firstchoice entertainment team worked very hard. Could drink the beer all day without any fear of getting drunk!

Excellent for kids but not for childless couples who should perhaps opt for other venues.

Couple of days of cloud and drizzle, but in the main sunny and warm. Temperatures between 22 and 25 degrees, and we went home with a tan.

Being AI didn't need to leave the Caleta Amarilla, just as well really because Caleta De Fuste doesn't really have a great deal to offer. All the bars are in commercial centres and not really to my own choice. Would recommend however the Jazz bar just up the road, great music to chill out to.

I stayed here for two weeks in July with my husband & 2 daughters aged 6 and 3. We all had a really good time. The accomodation was good, very clean. I liked the fact they were bungalows and there was a back and front door with a drying screen out the back and a table & chairs out the front. The kids loved the pool and I like the fact that the kids had a separate pool. The big pool was really cold but lovely once you got used to the temperature! The kids loved the kids club and so did the parents cause we got a couple of hours peace and quiet most days. We enjoyed it so much that we are planning to go back next year. The entertainment was excellant Zoe and Dean are doing a fantastic job. Both my daughters fell in love with Dean. I think the Cartoon Heroes dance will stay with me forever!

I have just got back from Caleta Amarila this morning but could not after the flight so I thought I would would send this review in now. This was by far one of the best places I have stayed in for a few years.Every member of staff would go out of there way to be helpful to you and to and make your holiday a good one.Thats every one from the cleaners to the bar staff to the waiters and waiteress. The First choice reps were great any problems or anything they would sort it out, or if you just wanted to find anything out about the resort they are the ones to see.I was told the kids club was good too, but my lad was a bit old for it so I can't really comment on that. The entertainments manager is a bloke called Dean what a brilliant job he's doing. He gets everyone involved in the activities and runs a good programme of events right throughout the day and on into the night.PS he also looks like a very well known cartoon character.
All in all a great holiday and would not hesitate to go back again.

When i was out there in 2005 i did notice that that Caleta Amarilla was having a face lift but i didn't notice about the name change I have just come back from Caleta de fuste again and i went for a drive to where it was and i noticed that the name had gone, i had a peek and everyone seemed to be having so much fun. It has had a name changed it joined forces with club caleta dorada
