Hello there, In terms of the facilities of this hotel I can not say a bad thing about it but I suppose that should be expected when you visit four star accommodation. The rooms, beds and bathroom were all very good quality and came with air conditioning.
If you are a family or couple I think you will love this place and have a real good holiday. Facilities include, a resturant, bar (with large tv for when the football is on),a sort of outside stage where the family evening entertainment takes place, table tennis, pool table, various arcade games and internet access*.
*although when using a spanish configured keyboard you may have difficulty trying to find the '@' when looking at your emails.
The hotel is situated between puerto polencia (prob spelt wrong) and alcudia and, has its own bus stop, the bus service is provided during the day with the last buses leaving at around 8:15pm. The cost of the bus is one euro to puerto polencia although im not sure about alcudia. A taxi to to alcudia during the day is about 9 euros and late night/early morning no more than 14 euros.
Being three, 21 year olds with out much money we decided to book a holiday with some random website, the operator being 'first choice' and being 3 star, allocation on arrival, with a special request for being somewhere that was 'young and lively' - that it certainly isnt and because it is the opposite side to the island the only place there was to go was alcudia which was pretty ok but became boring after a couple of days. luckerly we new some people staying in magaluf, so we got a bus from club del sol, to palma, changed at palma and then got off at magaluf cost altogether was less than 10 euros.
After a night at magaluf we spoke to people on the street who told us place to stay at 20 euro a night which between three is not that much.
so if your a family or couple i reccommend the club del sol, if your young and want some where young and lively i would advise not to go to the club del sol
