| Cologne Travel Guide: Great Time

Trip was for a couple on short break. Hayley Young would probably visit again.
| Cologne shopping | | | As we only went to the Christmas markets we never did much shopping but there is plenty of stores to choose from. |
Cologne restaurants | | | We found it easy to find a small pub to eat. Throughout the day and night you can also purchase food e.g pizza, pretzels from the markets. |
Cologne attractions | | You have to visit the cathedral it is magnificent. We went up to the spire which was a treck along the concrete staircase- only for thoses able. The view is wonderful.

Cologne day trips | | | We took a trip up to the Dusseldorf Christmas markets which were great. |
Cologne History and Culture | | | We stayed at the Radisson, which is a small tram ride across the river to the centre. |
Getting to Cologne | | | We got a coach and went on the ferry with National Holidays. Its a long trip as you have to go via Belgium. |
Getting around Cologne | | Use the tram lines there the cheapest and fastest way. You can also travel on the river boats. |
