Cortijo Blanco: San Pedro October 2007 by Dave Williams 47 |

Well i have just returned from the Cortijo Blanco Hotel..and what a great time i had.The hotel is situated about 2km from San Pedro and a taxi costs about 6 euro for 4 people..this is the nearest bit of life !!!! but if your there in october for the festival on the 19th..the place is absolutely buzzing...as for the location if you had a hire car like we did you are in easy travelling distance of everything you could want for on holiday...The hotel itself is an amazing little bit of spain inside a complex...old fashioned but not out of date...the staff were both helpfull and polite, the food was great, always a varied selection and hot....breakfast was my favourite and the fried bread the best i have ever tasted.the evening entertainment was a little poor, except for one night when the artist was brilliant...the bingo caller was the best laugh on the other nights ...i wont spoil it he has to be heard to be believed.....had the whole group in stitches...
And dont forget a visit to Gibralta .....only 40 mins away.....
as they say "you get what you pay for" worth every penny and that wasnt a lot!!!

Cortijo Blanco: Road works |

How extensive are the roadworks? Is this hotel wheelchair friendly? >> Answer this question | | | | >> | Answer 1 by Dave Williams 47 (19 Apr)
Hi .as you see from my report we stayed there last october,in my opion you should have no problem with wheelchair access at the hotel, just request a ground floor room....as for the road works they were extensive and the main road is the highway to hell...we had a hire car and soon found routes in and out without to much bother.
