Costa Teguise shopping

10.0
Cheaper than anything we have ever bought in Feurteventura or Gran canaria. Especially for the Kids, Lie-low 4 Euro boogy boards 5-15 Euro bucket spade and fishing net 2.5 Euro for all three - camers, watches, clothes are great value in comparison to other canary islands

Costa Teguise nightlife

9.0
Not nighclubbers any more so cant comment on the few disco,s other than to say we didnt even notice them, very relaxed family atmosphere where we stayed (right by the beach) loads of bars/cafes and restaurants, bars with singers (some not very good at it but very entertaining for a laugh) felt very safe day and night, saw no violence or evidance of drug dealers - (there were quite a few of the "lookie lookie" men selling there bling they had a laugh with you but dont get affended or pester you when you say no) Didnt hear of anyone having the pocked picked or being mugged while we were there in the busy Easter holidays.

Costa Teguise restaurants

Loads of great restaurants to choose from, La ola right on the beach. Tex mex, grill restaurant and a chinese just up from the beach (beside pueto tahiche apts)(cant remember the names but they are quite small hexagan shaped glass builings) splash for good lunchtime food with fab views overlooking the beach, and the cutty sark just around the corner with the best steak and ale pie (dont normally eat pies on hols but had a fancy for it) and all at really good prices.

Costa Teguise day trips

Timanyaya is well worth a visit but dont book through the reps 50euro each person is the cost - however they only charge 24 euro per car to get in and a half chicken and chips meal there which is cooked by the heat of the volcano only costs 8 Euro and you can hire a car for 12-15 euro a day.

Costa Teguise History and Culture

Try and get your hands on a resort map before you book or you could have a big treck to the beach.

Beaches are big and clean to sunbathe or windsurf on or bay shaped and great for snorkling.

The bay behind occidental teguise is great for snorkling and the hotel is really nice (went in for a snoop and would definately stay there)

Puerto Tahiche review
great location but take your own bleach
The apartments are in a great location right beside the beach however the accomodation itself is very very very basic and what you read in the holiday brochures is highly exagerated. In fairness for...
