The approach to the Hotel looked a little daunting due to it's proximity to an area which looked 'industrial' and commercial but that really wasn't an issue once in the Hotel grounds. We arrived a bit early to book in but our cases were taken to our room anyway which gave us time to look at the Hotel grounds and amentities. First impressions were really very good. The Hotel porter, although couldn't speak English ( we always seem put the blame on people because they don't speak our language - is it a British thing?!) knew enough to point us in the right direction when we requested something, like a taxi for instance. The receptionists could all speak English and were extremely helpful. We were a group of 3 who shared a room, this was a bit on the small side but nevertheless was to a high standard and kept immaculately clean every day. The breakfast was more than adequate, being a vegetarian was not an issue at all, hot or cold buffet with an exeptionally varied choice. we used the bar every night, which closed at midnight, which we thought was a tad early, and we had a meal on the one night which was very good considering the time we decided to eat-11:15pm. The Hotel have dedicated taxi drivers who are spot on - good for a laugh and very informative. We used one, Richard, to take us to the local sites and he spoilt us, mind you the tips we gave him should enable him to get the Lexus taxi he craved for!! The only downside was the sauna/steam room etc which we had to pay extra for, 60zlotys, which was no big deal anyway but should be worth mentioning - a bit picky i know! Would i go there again- most definately, in fact we are due to go there next year after visiting Gdansk. We spent 7 nights in the Hotel and the overall price for the week very good value for money. ps don't forget to take a 'bobble' hat, you know what Polands like!!
