| Dalyan Travel Guide: A beautiful place to relax and enjoy!
| | Written by Teresa Ryan on 30 Aug 2007 about a trip in Aug 2007. Trip was for a couple on holiday. Teresa Ryan would maybe visit again.
| Dalyan shopping | | | Good shopping for size of village. |
Dalyan nightlife | | | Plenty of music bars, many with live music. The Jazz Bar was a great place to be with live music most nights. |
Dalyan restaurants | | | We were in Dalyan for 1 week and ate at a different restaurant each night down by the river. The food and service were excellent all week and eating by the river overlooking the rock tombs was lovely. |
Dalyan attractions | | | Dalyans Turtle Beach is beautiful, long wide with fine pale sand. It gently shelves so makes it ideal for young children. The public boat ride from Dalyan to the beach (30-35mins) along the river is a pleasure in itself. |
Dalyan day trips | | | We went on the 12 island boat trip. It was well worth it as we had a really lovely day stopping to swim from the boat loads. On one of the stops our captain and his crew made a great lunch on the bbq at the back of the boat. We were picked up from our hotel at 9.15am and dropped back at 6.30pm. A really good day out. |
Getting to Dalyan | | | Fly direct to Dalaman. Dalyan approx 25-30 minutes from airport. |
Getting around Dalyan | | The beach is a half hour boat or dolmus ride from the village. |
When to visit Dalyan | | It gets very hot in July and August |
