Me and my boyfriend visited the Don Pedro in May 2005 for 1 week and throughly enjoyed it. When we arrived it was very quiet, there was hardly anyone around. The views from the hotel were amazing overlooking the beach, who could ask for more! The entertainment was slow but it did start to pick up later in the week when more people were arriving they did put on a show with a really bendy man very funny!.
The food was good but did get repetative everthing cooked in oil and the deserts were bowls of flavoured cream which left you bloated(windy). The staff were really friendly.
The rooms were basic and cleaned everyday we would wait until the cleaners were finished as they did often leave the balcony doors open. There are buses and taxis that take you into Porto Pollensa, but I would definitely recommend walking- the views are great and it only took 30 mins.
We went on a few excursions, Caves of Drach was cool there was stalegmites & tights everywhere. The pearl factory was boring there was a tour but you'd have to understand spanish to enjoy it. My favourite was the pirates- worth every penny loved it entertaing for all ages.
I will definately go back we had a fantastic time not recommended for those who like clubbing this resort is very quiet, there is only a handful of bars.

Visited the Don Pedro in August 2005. Beautiful location and clean hotel, would recommend this holiday to anyone with children who don't want the nightlife. Host of activities during the day or laze by the pool. Rooms were good, we had the annexe section of the hotel, ask for this if you book, rooms are bigger and you're away from the main compex, only drawback no lift so lots of stepsto your room but sea view is well worth the walk!
Would definately go again!

My Husband and i visited the Don Pedro in June 2003 with our little boy then 8, and another family with a boy of 12.
We had a fantastic week, the beaches are lovely and clean, the water lovely, the kids enjoyed going out on the pedelo's and snorkelling. This was our first time in a hotel and was much better than expected we had a great time. the food was great lots to choose from, and even the kids were catered for. Over all a great holiday.

Have just returned from a week in this hotel. The hotel was excellent in every way. The only blight on this holiday was that 4 rooms were robbed while we were there. Security did seem at a minimum.This did not spoil our holiday., and we will go back again

Brilliant holiday, first class hotel, food was excellent, and the location cannot be beaten,Kids ages 12 and 9, They had a real good time, and we adults had time to relax and enjoy the ameneties.
