| Travelled to Dubai for 6 days in September 2001 and thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. Hotel was great, there was so much to see and do - the city itself was breathtaking! The shopping.... take plenty of spending money is all I can say!
A must is the jeep safari. Your hotel will be able to book this for you. You spend the whole day racing up and down the sand dunes, go to a camel farm and get to see a couple of races if you're lucky! Then it's on to a bedioun camp with camel rides, henna tattoo artists, belly dancing and an authentic bedioun feast.
Be prepared for the heat. The hottest day we recorded was 137 degrees farenheit! |
