Eden: very rude staff by Vincent Ashley

Ive holidayed in the south of france on quite a few occassions in the past 10 years as its probably my favourite part of the world.I would not reccomend this hotel though as the staff are very poor and the service worse.Things got off to a bad start when the rooms were not ready until 4pm even though our flight was 11am and i asked the hotel for an early checking in.I know this sometimes is difficult but not even one of our 3 rooms was available.We were told that we could leave our bags in the lobby and they would be put in the baggage room and to come back at 4pm.on our return we found all of the bags still in the lobby and not in the least bit secure.

The receptionist was not in least bit concerned about this and dismissed my concerns with a shrug and went back to talking to her friend in french.

The rooms that were now ready were not the type of rooms we had booked although the receptionist would not agree this for 20 mins until i proved it by showing her the email.still there was no apology forthcoming and we carried our bags to our rooms.The corridors were littered with discarded breakfast trays as they were everyday until sometimes 6pm.At breakfast the next day the breakfast help insisted that i paid for breakfast even though i assured her we had prepaid.After talking to reception she returned and in front of all the other guests and said that the reception told her i had to pay.Another visit to reception who blamed the breakfast help but again did not apologise.This routine happened for the next 3 days!

South of France great.Hotel eden rubbish.
