I come from Czech republic and this was my pre-wedding holiday without my future husband but with my 2 girlfriends, first time in Alcudia and I have to say we fully enjoyed it. Hotel very nice, clean and we had a very good location of our room with a view to a gulf. Everybody very friendly, helpful, although some of the receptionist could speak better English. Hotel more family oriented with a lots of activities for children but we enjoyed even that. Every evening was entertainment - to be honest very poor but it depends on everybody taste. Someone liked it we did not :-). Eden Lago is in a quiet place so you are not disturbed by any noise coming from night life. To centre of bars, restaurants, discos etc. you can walk aprox. 15-20 min or take a cab for 3,50-4 EUR. And the food in Eden Lago? Excellent! We had halfboard, every day something else with a big and wide choice of everything so it could not happen you would get bored with eating every day the same staff. Hotel is not situated straight on the beach but you just cross the main road and it takes about 5 min. to get to the beautiful, long beach with lots of activities and restaurants. Alcudia is very nice with few German tourist and mostly English. And I have to say that this server helped us a lot with finding the right place to go to our marvellous holiday. Hope I will have a chance to go to Alcudia again and if yes I will not hesitate what hotel should we choose. Altogether I would recommend this hotel to families with little kids and even to young people who can walk to get some adult entertainment in the centre.
