Cancun is a great place to go, there is loads to do, plenty to do in two weeks. We were there in July 2000. The location of the hotel is good- right on the beach and a bus outside the hotel takes you to down town Cancun. There are a couple of pools in the hotel which we steered clear of after someone complained about getting an ear infection in! The food is not really that good in hotel, but eating out is very expensive, expect to pay £50 for two steak and chips! Definately recommend Cancun but if you like your food probably recommend a better hotel!

I and my wife were there 3 years ago and it was BRILLIANT. It just goes to show how fast a place can go downhill.(see Steve's report below)
Other than that , Cancun was ok, eating out was expensive though.
Iif you are going then Chichen-Itza is amazing,,,,truly amazing.
Swimming with the dolphins at Islas Mujeres is fun but cost about £130 then, must need a mortgage now!!!

the food at this hotel was awful,whilst staying there i lost over 8lbs in weight
other people who stayed at the hotel also complained
the jmc rep was crap so far jmc have been too
