| Just visiting here for the first time.....It sounds like the quiet place I / we are hopefully looking for......
Well we did go, what a nice place it was too, no problems and just like everybody has already said, the beech was clean, the sea water could be a little oily from the local water buss service (allegedly) never the less great and safe place to take you little ones, the bars were basic but friendly, some with good free entertainment, we went HB so it would be unfair to make any comments about the restaurants all though most looked to be your typical egg an chips etc, the apprentice San Antonio school kiddies brigade were about in the evening but they were no problem, their Mums/Dads were not too far away to bring them in hand if they got too giddy (avoid the School hols if this bothers you) they are only young once, the external merriment finishes at 11.59pm and then it has to go indoors, most bars I found were sound proof so everything went silent within reason after 12.00 I understand this is the law and punishable if ignored, so sleep after 12.00 for us was not a problem ......Believe it or not my only criticism would be the foot paths, for me not a problem, its not too hilly but if you are not so confident on you feet or in a wheel chair the paths can be rather narrow, uneven and slippy in places, I know you might say that’s par for the course when you go to European seaside resorts…..just take care. |
