The owner of the Fenix lives on-site, and speaks good English. My room was completely suitable for the purpose - sleeping, showering, relaxing, sitting on the balcony with cold drink in hand.
The room was spotless on arrival, however, the rooms are not cleaned until you leave. Clean linen is available on request, and they don't mind you asking.
There was no noise from the adjacant rooms, but there was a lot of footsteps heard from the corridoor and the room/s above. And the fridge was noisy (and right opposite the bed !).
There is a bar and a smallish pool. The bar is very cheap, but closes at 6pm. The pool area was cramped, and half of it was in the shade in the 30 mins I spent there.
Despite all this, I would return to the Fenix because of it's good location.
