When I first visited this hotel I was dreading what I would find, as I discovered, after booking, that it was 1 star rated. The hotel is immaculate, the food plentiful and the staff are amongst the nicest and most helpful I have ever encountered.
The resort of Estartit has been in decline over the recent years but there are already works under way to rejuvenate it. It is a mecca for divers due to the attraction of the Medas Islands marine nature reserve, so entertainment isn't high on their list of priorities. This family run hotel really is the best value for money accommodation I have stayed in. So much so that I will be back there again this year.
