This was an excellent resort for families.
The room were really spacious and very modern and clean.
The resort is closer to the Disney resorts but also within easy driving distance to the universal studios.
I read a lot of reports about disruption due to building work however this really wasnt an issue.
The pools are fine but not easy to get a sunbed unless you reserve one early. It is also quite a long walk from Block F to the main pool. The good thing was that towels were plentiful.
The bar and cafe were good although would have been good to have an indoors bar for night where it is windy and cold as it was a few times when we were there.
Staff were very helpful and friendly and would certainly stay there again if we return to Florida.

Bedrooms were large,clean,air-conditioned. Living area was comfortable and spacious. Kitchen & Dining area was spacious, clean and very well equiped with all mod-cons.
Service was first class, gold standard, extremely helpful, curtious and friendly.
Deli food was fresh clean and cooked to perfection.
Pool and hot tub were clean and very quite as off peak time of year. Room facilities as mention were fantastic: 47' TV in living room, DVD,VCR. 37' TV in each bedroom. Dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, oven, fridge, all mod-cons of a household kitchen. Jacuzzi tub in master bedroom a surprising extra.
Location is south international drive this is the less developed side of the international strip. Very quite in a good way. 2 mins walf from Public (hugh chain grocery store), walgreens (24hr pharmacy + more) & takeaway restaurants.10 mins walk from premium outlet store, Outback Steakhouse restaurant and McDonalds. Use the I-trolley bus system for cheap but regular (every 15 mins approx) transport to all of international drive, buy the tickets at the concierge desk in Floridays. 30 mins from universal studios, 30 mins from disney by free shuttle from floridays(drivers expect tip though!).
Value for money was excellent,the 2 bedroom apartment (3 bed, 1 sofa bed) worked out at around 1200euros for 7 nights, and as it sleeps 8 incl the fold out sofa bed, that can work out quite cheap if you have a gang or family staying.
All in all not a bad work to say, definitely recommend Floridays for any type of traveller. Right up there in the top 10 best accomodation I've stayed in, probably number one.
