This is an ideal area to stay. It is quiet but only a short bus or train ride to the centre of Fuengirola or Benalmadena, The beaches are clean and safe and not to pricey for sunbed hire.Try the fish restaurants on the beach for the local specialities or the Brit bars if you feel you are missing home, We found the Flamingo Bar ( which is on the Paseo behind El Bote restaurant )to have an excellent and reasonable menu....try th Sirloin steak with pepper sauce, The family that run the bar are very friendly and helpful, they know the area well. and will help you with any questions you have on the area, they even took us to the train station.all in all a great area to explore the costa del sol
