| A place in the sun with history to suit everyone. It can offer the best of britain with a little of spain added. If your staying in southern spain then its worth a visit. if travelling by car would advise parking it the spanish side of the border and walking into Gibraltar. or the buses that run from the border into town, if travel is by coach you find the actual time in the rock area is limited. normally about 3 hours. before you leave the Rock ensure you use up the local currency as its not accepted outside of the area. the euro exchange rate was ok but paying for items in euros seemed to work out dearer, overall a good place to visit as a day tripper.
