| Golden Sands Review: a good family resort | | Written by Brian Varrier on 19 Sep 2003 about a trip in Jul 2003.
| We would certainly go back to G/Sands again sometime. We have a 15 yr old son and he enjoyed it. Plenty of things to do. Beach nice and clean. Plenty of trips out if wanted. The people are friendly, but like anywhere else these days are after your money, which after all tourism is practically all they have, and they are certainly making the effort to encourage people to go there. Try to stick to 3* plus to ensure a good chance of a decent hotel. Padi scuba beginners cert was £27, Quad bike 1hr £20 and plenty of other sporting ideas.
we went on a mountain and beach holiday with Balkan Holidays. Enjoyed every minute. Borovets in the mountains and Golden Sands for the beach. |
