Booked online through Orchid travel and got a great deal. Most impressive reception with waterfall and glass bottomed pool roof. Room a lovely size and nicely appointed. Even the rooms at the back overlooked the mountains and made a nice change from sea. Great pools and though they said heated, we found them too cold to swim in so ended up at the kids pool. Kids club left a little to be desired - they didn't notice when our son wandered off to explore on his own, but we ended up going with him and sitting in the kids area which has a sandy play area as well as the club "hut". This hotel is not near the beach but great if you like a pool holiday in a lovely area - Costa Adeje is very posh compared to the rest of Las Americas. The little train is fun to get an idea of the area and the kids like it too. Supermarket right next door so you can stock up your minibar fridge with your own goodies. The buffet meals on half board were excellent - no complaints even with a 3 and 1 year old. We would go again for sure.

A 5 star hotel newly opened DEc 2001
A wonderful hotel, Rooms spacious,
Food very good buffet style. However service is slow,
and to find a table at dinner can be quite difficult.
The beach is a downhill 20 minute walk. A hard walk up hill back to hotel after a long day sunbathing.
We booked via internet and saved over £500 ! taxi cost £12 from airport.
