I'm writing this review on the 06.08.07 as I'm going back there again on the 18th this is my families fourth year in a row to go back to the Gran. This Hotel/apartments is the dog's Bollo* it's absolutly brilliant. From the staff in reception, the bar staff, the cleaning staff and the pool lifegaurds all very freindly and professional at all times.
Mari, the Children's entertainer is in a leauge of her own, how she does it, we'll never know, always on top form and remembers every single child's name, even the following year, this amazed me! She get's ALL the kid's involved and never gives any special treatment or leaves a child out, she bring's out the best in them, really help's them enjoy their time there. The games she plays are great.
The room's are the perfect size for what you use them for i.e. sleeping, eating and getting washed. Cleaned on a daily basis and bed linen changed very regularly plus the main room is air conditioned. All room's (with the exception of one or two) have a great poolside view.
There is a poolside bar which serve's food, it not the greatest in the world but's it edable and very reasonably priced. The location is just 5 min's walk to the madness that is Santa Ponsa, so it's quiet which is a hugh benifit when your travelling with babies.
The pool itself is brilliant , sectioned into 4 Babies paddling, 2 kids pool's and of course an adults Deep end! all 4 are spacious and is probably the best part of the hotel.
I can't knock these apartments in any way find out for your self.
