Just come back from Gran Sol on a hen weekend. Great little hotel close enogh to nightlive wthout the hassel of being in the middle of it. A short walk of about 5-10 minutes (depeding how fast you walk) into San Antonio centre, Westend and to Cafe del Mar (Sunset fantastic, a must see!!). It takes around 15 minutes to get to Eden, Es Paradie and the bay.
Rooms very nice, plenty of room with TV and Telephone and balcony has table and 2 chairs. Bathroom also nice with shower over the bath, toilet, sink and a hairdryer. Rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels being left (when up in time). Only problem was no air conditioning, the rooms did have a ceiling fan but it was a bit pathetic, which provided a little light relief when stood directly under.
Service from staff really good, all being very friendly. There was not much choice of food from the bar menu, but from what I saw it looked pretty decent. However there are plenty of eating places within a few minutes of the hotel. It was a little annoying that we were not allowed to buy drinks from outside of the hotel to have around the swimming pool as soft drinks were a little expensive.
Only stayed here for 3 nights but would visit again when a little cooler.
