Grecian Bay Hotel: Grecian Bay Hotel Agia Napa by Nick Neale |

Overall, a relaxing holiday. This hotel has a good pool, close access to a very good sandy beach, Gym, Jacuzzi, etc.
A short walk along the beach to the harbour area, or along the road up to the square, main shopping areas and a more shoe friendly walk to the harbour!
The staff all speak good English/French/German/Russian etc so no problems with language and are very helpful.
The 'pool attendants' will assist you with setting up your sun loungers and brollies and a nice touch are the frozen towels that they bring round mid morning. The pool is also served by bar staff (although you may have to wait a while for your drink! The bar appears to operate a rather strange long winded system - one person takes your order, another puts it through the till and yet another serves the drink.
We only stayed B&B so can't really comment on the lunch and evening meals served on half or full board basis. The breakfast was of a good standard with everything you could wish for including salmon, fruits, cereals, full English, cakes, champagne, juices all self service. You request tea and coffee from the waiters when you've found a table (a selection of tea bags can be found near the cereals).
Room;
The maids clean every day, although the floors could have been cleaned more thoroughly. Dressing-gowns and free slippers were a nice touch. As were the pillow chocolates each day. Water pressure was a bit low, as we were on the fourth floor, and I guess it would be even worse on the fifth. We were a bit out of the way in the "West Wing", but it wasn't too much further to walk from reception, and was closer to the pool.
For the ladies, there were plenty of mirrors with good lighting, (even a magnifying mirror in the bathroom) a hairdryer, toiletries replenished each day (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion). There is a 'do not disturb' button by the bed which is useful if you want a lie-in or prefer not to be disturbed by the 'chocolate lady' at 5pm whilst enjoying your siesta.
The gym/health club is open from 8am to 8pm and it is here that you collect and change the beach towels each day and also book your sun beds. (Each umbrella base around the pool and on the beach has a number on it which you book for the duration of the holiday). Any that are not taken after 10:30am are free for anyone to use. We would suggest that as soon as possible after you arrive you look around the pool or beach to see where you prefer to sunbath and book your preference early. (You can of course change your booking at any time providing there is availability)
